Our Process
E-Mail your work in a MS Word file to Editor@lookingglasseditors.com. (PDF’s will not be accepted)
We will review and send you an invoice (based on word count and selected editing level) and a questionnaire that helps us determine the style and vision you want to achieve. The questionnaire is customized based on your work and may take up to 24-48 hours to send to you.
Once we receive your 60% deposit and completed questionnaire. We will pair you with an editor who specializes in your genre.
Your editor will stay in touch with you throughout the entire process. They will reach out to you with any questions to help them understand your ultimate goals, including style and tone.
Once our editing is complete, we will send you a marked version, in tracked changes, that show any and all edits we’ve made, and applicable comments of why we made the suggestion. You, as the author will want to review each comment and edit and accept or reject as you see fit. We will also send you a separate document with overall suggestions to improve your manuscript.

Basic Glass Copy Editing……………….. up to 2 weeks

Double Glass Editing ……………………. approximately 3 - 4 weeks
Screenplays (MS Word and Final Draft submissions only) 4 weeks for full length screenplay (120 pages) 2 weeks for pilot submissions (30-50 pages)
